Last week was crazy weatherwise in NYC! It was 70 ealier in the week and then on Thursday and Friday in snowed. The city got 4 inches and other parts were reporting up to 8 inches. But the sun came out strong on Saturday and despite having to navigate massive piles of snow at intersections (and huge black puddles easily mistaken for asphalt) we all had fun on Saturday, St. Patrick's Day.

Speaking of St. Patrick's Day, I just ran across this group "Essential Drinking Playlists" created by JBoardley. Quite a bit of research went into this!

So my sister mentioned this to me and being a Ben Folds fan i had to google it. Turns out he's not actually going to be there but a bunch of performers are putting on a show using his music at the New York Musical Festival. mamma mia meets ben folds? Yikes. It's actually going on for just one night and tickets are $50. No ben folds + $50 = too rich for my blood!

Anyone going to see Guster?

I'm seeing Guster at the Beacon Theater in April. I saw them with Ben Folds a couple years ago at Central Park Summerstage and liked them a lot. I saw Ben Folds a few months back at the Beacon - my first time there and it was a great concert. hope this will be too.
