If Aaron looks familiar, as his smile and eyes may have given him away immediately. It is because he is the younger brother of multi-faceted actor Carlos Agassi, and those physical traits mentioned are their trademarks. Another is their passion for music but the difference is that Aaron is not a rapper like Carlos. Rather he is into R&B and pop music that’s reminiscent of the boyband era - sweet, bubblegum music that catered to teenagers! \"I really like a lot of songs from boybands and I don’t mind if I’m packaged like them. The teenagers are my target so I don’t mind kung boyband ang dating ko. First of all, I don’t know how to rap. Although I appreciate all kinds of music my forte is not rap so I’m leaving that to my brother,\" explained Aaron. Aaron’s taste then in music can be savored in his debut album under Universal Records entitled \"Right Next To Me\" which has been produced by former boyband member (Neocolors) Ito Rapadas. Containing 12 cuts, his carrier single which already has a music video is \"Calculate It.\" Other songs in his album include \"Paano\" which was composed by Diana Dayao and arranged by renowned foreign R&B singer Keith Martin, a remake of Neocolors’ hit song \"Kasalanan Ko Ba,\" the title cut \"Right Next To Me,\" \"When You’e In Love With Someone,\" \"I’ll Be Your Hero,\" \"Take It Easy,\" \"Hanggang Matapos,\" One In A Million,\" \"Another Sad Goodbye\" and a remix version of \"Calculate It.’ Though all the songs in his album are his favorite, he admits to always being moved by \"Kasalan Ko Ba.\" He empahtizes with the song’s sadness and at the same time is inspired by it. So how did Aaron became Universal Records’ newest contract artist? It all started within Aaron who really wants to pursue a singing career. That is why he even joined Star Circle and was launched as one of the members of Batch 13. Unfortunately for him, nothing has happened with his career and he was never given the much needed break to be a singer. So with the help of Carlos Agassi, he sent out demo CDs to different recording companies. Luckily for him, Universal Records became interested. They met with him and they soon inked an album deal. His demo CD was a song by Mario called \"Let Me Love You\" and Jay-R’s version of Martin Nieverra’s \"Say That You Love Me. \"I just found out after they signed me that the version by Jay-R was arranged by Ito Rapadas who has produced my album,\" smiled Aaron of the coincidence. \"I’m very greatful for Universal Records’ trust in me. Kaya ako ngayon lumalabas at nakikita ng mga tao is because of this.\" Aaron then was prepared for his album through different self-improvement programs imposed on him by his label. Until now he attends regular voice lessons with Anthony Salazar even if he has already released his album. Such is his label’s idea to make him delectable too to a global audience! \"He helps condition my voice. And at the same time he corrects my mistakes and helps me with correct breathing. But most of all he prepares for days when I’m tired from work the other night and then I have to work again immediately the following day,\" he explained of his vocal coach Anthony Salazar. Now that he’s a recording artist, what advice did big brother Carlos give him? \"He just said to enjoy what I’m doing and be humble and down to earth. I should also enjoy every moment and just give my best everytime I perform,\" he replied. \"I’m also not scared of competition since I’m going to work hard to succeed.\" Speaking of big, this 17 years old pop artist used to be very big in size. He used to weigh 240 lbs. before he dropped to 135 lbs.He recalled that since he was five or six years old, he has always wanted to enter showbusiness. But he always had a hard time because of his size especially during auditions. Then one day because of peer pressure from some people in his school he decided to lose weight. For three months he went into a diet and did cardio workouts every single day and that was two years ago! \"I didn’t have self-confidence before because ang taba-taba ko. This was really unexpected that I joined showbiz,\" said Aaron who now regularly works-out at Gold’s Gym in Makati City. \"I’m still in awe. Sobrang overwhelmed pa rin ako sa mga nangyari. Blessing talaga kasi pangarap ko ito.\" But will he also try acting? \"Gusto ko rin ng acting but I still have to establish myself as a singer first. After that acting na kasi passion ko rin. I also intend to take up International Business at the Southville Foreign Colleges because kung hindi ko talaga ito calling then mas makakapagtapos ako ng schooling ko and I could focus on other things,\" he related. Aaron knows that he still has a lot of things to learn and improve in his craft so he could climb his ladder of success. He is also aware of the possibilty that he would receive intrigues or hear rumors about him because of his brother Carlos’ past experiences. But he is determined with his career. \"My philosophy is to always go for it. Kung pangarap mo yan and God gave you a gift then I want to share it.my goal naman is that kahit hindi masyadong sumikat as long as people would appreciate me and my music,\" he shared. \"Gusto ko lang mapasaya ang mga tao kasi hilig ko ito. I know marami pa akong mapagdadaanan just to build my confidence.\"
