Inspired by a fellow audiophile friend I'm going to attempt to make monthly music suggestions. My tastes know little genre boundaries and hopefully that will come through in my posts.

Radiohead continues to innovate; Spoon's recent release is worth a good listen; the Cold War Kids take on a old Sam Cook classic proves some white boys got soul; Mark Lanegan finds yet another fitting home for his whiskey-soaked breath in the Soulsavers; Rogue Wave applies some nice California sounds to Lake Michigan; and Shout Out Louds and Dr. Dog give their props up to REM.
