Sentimental Value?

Okay, so this has been bothering me for ages now. What do you do with the music in your library that you've accumulated but dont listen to? I have many soundtracks that i do not listen to but i cant bring myself to delete them! this goes for my sister's music i dont lsten to, also!
for example:
the wicked soundtrack
songs from lion king, hercules, etc.
hairspray? Sweeney todd? Rent?

I dont want to delete this music because i COULD want to lsten to it in the future, right? but i do NOT want it on my ipod/the shuffle songs.
BUT i dont wanna go through and create a huge playlist with the library that i WANT because i would forget to add songs to the huge library playlist.

Well, thats just one predicament thats been bothering me. That and the whole "i" button on my keyboard being a SPAZ and coming off every other time i use it. VERY annoying if you've never experienced it. when my "shift" broke, at least i had a spare. this 'i' sucks.

What to listen to when your angry?

Posted on May 28, 2009 - 4:11 PM
Half the time when I am REALLY mad about something, I can't listen to any music or anything because i am fighting the urge to cry from frustration.... HOWEVER when i am just mildly ticked about something, I crave the music that calms my nerves. After I get my ipod and turn it on (which takes a while because, probably like many others in the world, my ipod has decided to start crashing. Having to restart my ipod each time i turn it on isnt very fun, but there could be worse issues with it so...) I realize that my library is too vast and varying and that if i want music to calm me, then I'll have to search through my library after each song, which is just irritating (as is when your "i" key on your laptop is constantly falling off and you end up having to squish it into the keyboard with iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii as the result). BUT THEN i realized that i could make a playlist and my problem would be solved. So i tried to make a calming playlist for when i am angry by going through my library and randomly listening to songs and putting those that calmed me together:
"resist the urge" (to fight? to be angry? i am not sure)
Jealousy- sparkadia
Dream at tempo 119- silversun pickups
Set yourself on fire- stars
Lost in the plot- the dears
Shiver- coldplay
Chocolate- snow patrol
We share our mother's health- the knife (okay so its not the best calming song, but you get lost in the craziness... sort of)
Paper planes- pale young gentlemen
Scenic World- Beirut
Say (All I need)- Onerepublic (i know, sort of out of the blue, but it makes me calm. I always end up singing along so...)
Down the line- jose gonzalez
the girl- city & colour

BUT if you are not in the mood to be calm, if you are SO angry that you want music that will fit your mood exactly, not change it, then these songs would be a good idea:
Admit It!!! - say anything
Hysteria- Muse
Underdog- spoon (kinda slow...)
Love is noise- the verve
Spitting games- snow patrol

So yes, these are the songs that calm me down (or help me stay angry?). listen to SOME of them and you'll most likely be intrested! they are all good, but they probably have different effects on other poeple so... yeah. the end.
