chloe934 Movie And Tv Theme Songs
There are way too many good film themes to fit into fifty songs but here are a few well known scores. I can already think of more to add so perhaps there will be a second playlist . If there are any good themes that I missed out (probably) please comment, thanks .

bmw800 Was That English?
Imagine yourself sitting in a cafe, enjoying an overpriced beverage. When, all of the sudden, an awesome song dances across the speakers. The song is so catchy, you start to hum and tap along to the rhythm. In fact, the sound is so intoxicating, that it isn't until half way through that you realize that the singer isn't singing in English. How is that possible?! Isn't international music usually shrill and full of instruments you have never heard of? Think again. Here's a passport for your ears.
Featuring: Sigur Ros, Air, Fool's Gold, Aterciopelados, Serge Gainsbourg & Brigitte Bardot

mahonfire7 Wanna Hurt You So Bad, Don't Call Me A Monster
I don't know if there's necessarily a theme to this playlist, but they work nicely together. These songs are all I've listened to for about a month now, and they all give me a nice combo feeling of despair and hopefulness. I listen to them when I'm sad, I listen to them when I'm neutral, I listen to them when I'm doing alright. Point is, they're all fantastic, and I hope you love this playlist as much as I do. Some of them are extremely hard to find for downloading, so you may have to buy them off itunes or do a little googling to find them.
Featuring: Death Cab For Cutie, Bon Iver, Bloc Party, The Knife, Modest Mouse

bmw800 The Kickstart (An Invitation For Summer)
Dear Sun,

You are missed. Lately all I see are clouds, lightning, drizzle and mosquitoes up to my eye sockets. Do you have a case of the SADs (Seasonal Affective Disorder)? As your friend, I have compiled a musical prescription that hopefully will get you back on your feet. I want to share hazy days, shorts, margaritas, bicycles, sprinklers and popsicles with you. Please come out and play soon!

Sincerely,
Your Number One Fan

HannTck Mixed Messages
This playlist is dedicated to all those who have found themselves to be torn between staying or leaving a relationship. The songs selected are pretty divided between those associated with carrying on the relationship and those dealing with saying goodbye. Other tunes included help explain the miscellaneous and complicated thoughts that can come to mind when someone finds themselves in this position. I hope you enjoy!
Featuring: Stereophonics, Citizen Cope, Radiohead, Sara Bareilles, Tracy Chapman

FGPlaylist There's Nothing That The Road Cannot Heal
Ever wanted to just hit the road and not look back? Just go to some unfamiliar territory with nothing but the open road and a mix of your favorite songs? I’ve been there many times and have acted on it more than once. I recommend it for everyone at least twice in awhile. Still not convinced? Take a listen to this playlist.

Pinkasaur All I Can Do Is Keep Breathing
This is an old playlist, made by me two years ago after a break up, and also after my sister left to live overseas for a year. I was feeling alone and needed something to ease myself.

For all of you who have lost someone - by death, distance, a break up, or a mere falling apart - this is for you. There's pain, but there's hope that things will get better.

*EDIT:
Okay... it's deleting 3 of my songs for some reason.

add:
run - snow patrol
breathe me - sia
hurt - johnny cash

: )
Featuring: Snow Patrol, Christina Aguilera, Fort Minor, Avril Lavigne, Ingrid Michaelson

sometimesy Breakup Band-Aid
This is a small sample of the songs I listen to when I get my heart broken. Some are for fun, some are cathertic, some I just threw in to cheer people up. Love sucks sometimes, but this takes the edge off the sting.
Featuring: Dixie Chicks, Bright Eyes, Taylor Swift, Bloodhound Gang, Keri Hilson

cadams Biohazard: Radioactive Dub Crunk
Caution: This mix will make you so ready to party, blinking your eyelids feels like a trip. Get ready to pregame and rage like a freakin' zombie. Hook it up to a sub for maximum effect but don't piss off your neighbors because these beats GO HARD. Be prepared to feel the adrenaline pumping through your inebriated veins.

Lis92 [You Can't Turn Back The Clock But You Can Wind...
The two sweetest words are 'next time.' The sourest word is 'if.'
The songs which I chose for this playlist are quite different from one another. Some are upbeat, others - not so much. One thing that they do all have in common however are the messages they convey. I'd like to think these songs apply to all relationships, the good times and the bad that happen throughout each one. The songs at the beginning are songs which make me think of the "meeting and falling" phase and then it continues onwards through "taking things to the next level" "first argument" "making up" "heart break" and "moving on" etc. Think of this playlist as a sort of timeline if you wish.
Feel free to add comments & such :)

bmw800 Cupid's Ex
Valentine's Day has come and gone, but one must imagine that even Cupid isn't perfect. He must need to take lunch breaks, stop to frequent the restroom, and sleeps in (now and again). Perhaps it is in those times of momentary distraction, that he remembers to shoot one person...but innocently, yet fatefully, forgets to shoot the other. Thus unrequited love is born. What if dear Cupid neglects to sharpen an arrow? Indeed both parties are shot, but one is left more stung then the other. Oh dear, oh dear...and poor Cupid himself, the workaholic, is it not possible that even he has slighted a lover or two? This list is dedicated to Cupid's Ex.
Featuring: The Kinks, Bob Marley, The White Stripes, The Awkward Stage, Lou Christie

mmepchick A Few Summer's Ago
Every song on here reminds me of my summer in New Zealand a few years back. It's a little bit eerie, makes me a little teary, I hate and love at the same time how a list of songs can pull you right back into the past, as soon as the music begins.
And, as much as I hate the fact Kesha and Owl City are on here, I cannot deny the honest truth that they were a part of my summer and my memories.
Featuring: New Radicals, Noah And The Whale, Kesha, The Flaming Lips, Owl City

Depaul88 Filthy Electro House/Dirty Dutch House
The title speaks for itself. Strictly Filthy, Dirty, House Music. This playlist is for people that either know little about house music and want to know more, or for people that listen to it everyday and maybe will find a hidden gem they have never heard before. Anyways enjoy and keep it bumpin!

angel4610 Away I Fly
I hold the blade to my skin, the light glints off and my eyes reflect back to me through the thin silvery knife. Why do I want to feel pain; the blood seeping through my veins? Because, if I don't, I might think I'm not human because I can't feel anything. Not happy, or sad, or even angry. Just confused. I can see all those scars around my left around, faded but still visible. I've done this over a dozen times, and I know it doesn't work. It doesn't help me face reality. I musn't do this. I put the blade down, and take my beloved and most trusted device. My Ipod where all my emotions are channeled only through this playlist. I lie down, and let the music envelop me in its serenade of the lives of others.
Featuring: Linkin Park, Band Of Horses, Jimmy Eat World, Evanescence, Matt Costa

mmepchick Give Me A Dream Please, It's Been A Dreamless S...
the night comes in waves.
one minute you're squinting into the light of the fridge with the clock ticking in the background, the dead of night.
the next you're tossing under the sheets, in and out of dreaming, everything is surreal.
and the next you're wide awake, too aware of everything around you.
after that you're pacing the hallways.
hours pass in lulls and drags, and the only thing you're sure of, is that you can't sleep at all.
each of these songs are for all the different stages of insomnia.
Featuring: Radiohead, Fink, The Swell Season, The Album Leaf, Electric President
