Driving down the highway, the road stretches out in front of you for endless miles. The landscape flies past and all you can do is think. Whether alone or with someone else, these are the songs that softly fill the silences on the open road. Some of the most beautiful songs by some of my favorite artists have been arranged here to create a soundscape of movement and thought. Pop it in, turn it up, and let the adventure begin.

A four hour drive home across the South coast of England is no easy (or fun) feat. Frankly.... it's a mission. This playlist has helped me and my friend get home and back in high spirits. There's a few mellow ones in there too, but the majority are to make us happy and forget how long the journey is. It's also got us through quite a few parties. So, a very versatile playlist.

I've had a lot of trouble finding a good playlist with good songs about lost ones, so I decided to make one myself.

Justice may have said it first, but they certainly didn't do it in 25 heart-pounding, dance-tastic jams. So it's Friday night and you're getting ready to go out? Flip on this bad boy and dance your brains out! Warning: When used properly this playlist is SO danceable that you may ditch whatever plans you had, finding yourself unable to leave the party that has evolved in your living room. Now get your rave on

Lets face it, love is obviously the reason for every over half of every mix tape out there. This set is no different, songs mostly from the 90's that are pretty much amazing in their own right. The songs pretty much cover the unrequited side of love that makes everything so bittersweet, but you can never fully get away from the taste no matter how bitter. So I throw in My Own Worst Enemy and try to express the self loathing that chasing after someone you can't have brings, and then turn it back around to keeping your eyes on the prize with Closing Time. I know who I want to take me home should sum up the entire feeling behind the playlist. If you can't listen to this and not think of at least person you want to go home and hold then your doing it wrong.

Is there a song that instantly brings you cheer if you're down in the dumps? Then you throw yourself around like a mad thing, using whatever you can lay your hands on as a mic... if you're anything like me, that's the point someone walks in!!! So here's a bit of a silly playlist for if you need this strange kind of pick me up!!! (I know it's a little embaressing but hey!)

This is a playlist for when we get back from the pub after a few drinks and feel like listening to some classics and as the evening progresses we drink more and start reminiscing about our metal days and start jumping around like idiots headbanging before falling asleep and thennwaking up with a sore head and even sorer neck!

Grab every pillow and warm blanket you can find. Burn some incense and light the candles.Snag someone to share this with and curl into the texture and dreamlike state of each song.

Forget that the weather is turning colder. That the holidays are on the horizon. Allow your mind to drift or absorb the lyrics. That's it, shake it all off.....

It has taken me a month to compile all of these and they truly have helped me through this time in my life. I hope they can help others too.

These songs empower me. Some are upbeat and make me sing off key and obnoxiously, and some are somber. Regardless of the mood of these songs, they all can invoke great feelings. A few songs remind me of crazy summer nights, driving around with the top down, singing without a care in the world. Other songs remind me of a bitter fight with a lover, or moments of extreme sadness. I promise you this, your mood will be slightly changed after listening to this collection of songs. These songs encompass who I am, and who I've become.

You might be feeling upset, depressed, angry, anxious etc., whatever you are feeling, if you are in a funk and would rather get funky that I suggest you listen to these. Given the chance, you can let go of whatever is bugging you, at least for the time being and kick it with some good sounding music...Take a drive, clean your room, paint a picture, go running just listen and stay in the moment. Act out the songs, find a favorite lyric....whatever

The Day is near kids, All Hallows Eve. The day where you can indulge in all the fun size snickers your little belly’s can handle. Oh but don’t worry, Halloween packs some mighty good fun for the adults (college students) as well. For on this day we can be whoever and whatever our hearts desire, even if this involves walking the streets in nothing more than lingerie and loin cloth...duh Jane and Tarzan. For a night this entertaining the music must be top notch, and this does not include “purple people eater”. Thankfully some of today’s greatest artists write music all year long with titles that can relate to this glorious evening. So this Halloween let your inner slut out and monster mash to this spooky list all night long.

Recent set from Innjoy's resident Tuesday night DJ, DJ Baby Magdalene. The mood and genres are dependent heavily on how much alcohol bar-goers have in their bellies. My working formula is to start with the show's staple -- jangling garage rock -- and then maneuver into darker, '80s punk driven tracks. As the crowd grows drunker I take liberties in playing more distorted, lo-fi garage jams that mesh well with the set's overall high energy. As midnight nears and even more drinks are consumed, we throw a bonified dance party (complete with disco ball!) with new electronic/indie dance gems in the background. Our customers (my dancers) say that they appreciate the use of multiple genres -- as long as the energy's up. These are 25 songs for times when you want to be alone with your thoughts and maybe with your dog, a bottle of bourbon, and a pack of smokes. The songs may bring up feelings perhaps best not shared with others. A soundtrack for the time of night between last call and sunrise.

This is a playlist filled with music that just makes you feel good. I love all of these songs. This is perfect music for listening to while you're driving around on a Sunday afternoon or, while laying in bed, hidden under the covers on a rainy morning. Either way, this is good music.

Sometimes, you have no idea why you have selected the songs you want to hear. They have no order and don't mix into each other. But your ears need to hear them. You imagine your life and the songs magically unfold a wonderland of life stories and dreams. You realize that life doesn't always mesh together, but through songs, no matter how unlike they are, together form the story of your life.

Nothing hurts more than the sting of unrequited or lost love. But so often we just drag ourselves down with the burden of such negative feelings. So why not take an hour, turn on this playlist and just relish in that sadness, then turn it off, stand up and going dance in the rain. Because even the bittersweet can be one of the most needed things in our lives. Remember the person of your affections and ask yourself if there is anyone out there that feels like you, There Is.

This is a collection of songs that reflect parts of my life in very chilled out way. Everything from the death of my childhood friend to my most recent break up. I think the message of most of these songs is very easy to relate with regardless of what your life has put you through. I purposely ended it with No Lies Just Love because that is the song I feel amplifies what the whole list is trying to show. That even though this world can be cold and ruthless there is always something you can find to hold you up. I hope you guys enjoy this.
