It seems like all I do these days is drive. My boyfriend lives a good distance away from me, so I find myself driving much more often than usual. Driving so much obviously requires a good amount of stellar tunes. Over the years my music collection has dwindled extremely, and I was getting tired of listening to the same music everyday. I told him this, and he shrugged, and life went on. Then one day, much to my surprise, he had created me a mix of new music. And I loved it. So the only natural thing for me to do was in turn create him one of my own. A week or so later, another mix fell into my lap and another into his, and so on and so forth. Over the last few months we have probably acquired over twenty mixes from each other combined. This playlist features my favorite songs from these mixes, particularly the ones I listen to when I'm driving.

south coasts of autralia where the sun is setting behind the trees, tearing past in your old car with the tents in the back and the boat on the trailer. the sea's beside you, glistening in the afternoon sun of late summer. The days of driving to campsites by the beach, the smell of seasalt in the air. These are the songs that make you breathe in a breath of fresh air through the open window, wind blowing your hair in your face. These songs often have a sad twinge to them. Enjoy.

When being able to dance outweighs the importance of lyrics, this is the perfect playlist. Turn this on and the beats will overcome your being; you can't listen to these songs without feeling SOMETHING. All songs are remixes (well except for one, which is a chill rap song), the most of them being dubstep remixes or mash-ups. Impress your friends at the next party, this playlist is sure to overcome everyone. Enjoy!

I was sorting through my itunes when it occurred to me that certain songs are extremely reminiscent of my time spent as a freshman in college. I wanted to savor these memories so I sorted my songs by "date added" and handpicked the ones that remind me the most of specific memories, situations, or time periods. The list ended up being massive so I split it into two parts: first semester and second semester. These songs are from first semester in the order that I downloaded them. The first songs are the ones I was listening to in the car on the way to school for the first time and the playlist ends with the songs I was listening to while driving home for Christmas break. These songs may not hold any special significance for anyone else, but I thought I'd share anyways. :) Enjoy!

Radtastic bands with radtastic names. There's something so alluring about a band with an undeniably cool name, and it doesn't get much cooler than these. Perfect mix for chilling out, cuddling, background music for radical plans and dnm's. Tickle me silly, lovebicuit :)

This CD contains beautiful musical stylings of many different artists that cheerfully and delightfully convey the emotions that I feel about ending a four year chapter of my life filled with adventures and jokes in abundance. From the rock stylings of The Who's Baba O'Riley reminding us, "Don't cry, don't raise your eye, it's only teenage wasteland," to the unmistakeable intro of Ramble On by Led Zeppelin to the classic song, Today by the Smashing Pumpkins, because today really is the greatest day. Continuing on our musical journey to Sweet Emotion by Aerosmith followed by Fly Like An Eagle by The Steve Miller Band which reminds me of my alma mater, "Time keeps slippin', slippin', slippin', into the future!" And you can't forget about me, says the simple minds, and we want to break free now according to Queen. John Butler sings, "C'mon Now!" and Citizen Cope Lets the ...

I'm not really sure how to describe this. These are songs that make me happy and make me feel completely full of love, and to me it's the perfect blend of music. It's a mixture of happy and upbeat to sad and mellow songs but they've all influenced me in some way. It's great to just chill out to, or to even dance to if you'd like! Hope you enjoy :)

I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks of the ordinary summer playlist that contains the same songs. Summer playlists always consist of Dave Matthews Band, Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, John Mayer, and the like. Well, I got tired of listening to the same tunes summer after summer and created my own list. These songs all sound like something you'd hear at the beach....but they're not the stereotypical songs played on every beach radio station. So, as you prepare for your vacation, whip this playlist out, light up a joint and make new memories from new songs.
Feelings and Emotions are something we can't fully describe. Most of the time Music is either the outcome, or the use of our emotions. This playlist is an in-between of happy and sad, one for remembering happy memories. I was thinking of all the previous summers I have experienced and looking forward to making new memories during the upcoming summer. Soemthing many of us don't understand, we live only once so make the most of it. Never let a day go to waste. A famous quote I heard has changed the way I live everyday: "Live as if you'll die today, Dream like you'll forever"

This playlist makes you feel FREE. Makes you want to run along the beach in summer, with the sun setting behind you throwing flaming oranges across the sky, with a grin on your face, thinking 'God I love life.'

The countless minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and even years spent lusting after girls cannot be spent in silence. These songs were handpicked because they all remind me of the girls I've lusted after over the past year. They each relate to a specific memory either spent with them or spent thinking about them. The songs are all romantic, relaxing, or both. Enjoy as you sit back and think of the girl you desire to spend time with.

You know when you're driving, it's a nice day, maybe you feel a little depressed, need something to take you out of that 'funk' this is it. Start off with some french music, then everything just oddly flows into each other. Hope you like it, this CD's in my car now :)

It's a cold are rainy night, my eyelids can't stay closed. Taking pills doesnt work, the shadows under my eyes are proof of that. It feels as though my existance is entirely useless. Laying between these sheets doesn't seem to be getting anywhere at the moment. I can only find solace in a little black device, filled with distractions that keep my mind from reeling. I set the playlist to play so my mind doesnt start thinking, because when I start thinking the serious problem starts to set in.

Here is a selection of songs I find great to drive to (and in some cases sing badly to) in the summer. These are the more energetic and upbeat ones that I find make my journeys far more enjoyable although not necessarily laid back :)
You are surrounded from all directions. The gray, blood-stained faces of the undead stare at you through lifeless eyes. Your guns are loaded. The only thing that could make this night of homicidal horror any better would be a bad-ass playlist to get you pumped. Blast this list and send those zombies to hell.

Not the purest form of reggae, but rather the pop influenced or acoustic driven imitations of reggae is the genre that makes up this playlist. It is perfect for just relaxing but does not get as old or drag as much as traditional reggae. Light one up and head to the beach.

My favorite playlist during sunrise or sunset these songs can cause one to drive for miles. They put you in a mood that is not happy or sad, but simply content to be alive and well. Keep this playlist with you everywhere and it will always bring back good memories of when you first heard it.
