What is hot music wise in Mexico right now?

I'm making a return trip to Isla Mujere in Januray and would like to bring a some CDs for friends, probably in their mid-20s. Any suggestions on music would be greatly appreciated. Anyone know if it would basically be the same as in the US/Can?
