So firstly, a little background! My dad is 53 years old... he just bought an old Cadillac... this has been his dream car since I was a little girl. It's nothing special, but he is crazy about it. It only supports a tape deck and he was complaining that he doesn't have any tapes! I thought it would be a cute idea to make him an old fashion 'mix-tape' with 'his' music. My problem is that I only know a few songs that he likes. I know this seems like a ridiculous question to ask strangers when I'm trying to do something sentimental! But! Here's what I know...

He is 53 years old... so I'm assuming his most memorable time with music was in his 20's... so around 1975.

His favorite song is 'Blueberry Hill' - 'Fats Domino'! That I know =)

He also likes some Roger Miller songs... like Do-whacka-do... and of course, King of the Road!

He (seriously) loves the song 'If a tree falls in the forest...' - 'Bruce Cockburn'

Also 'Broken Arrow' - 'Rod Stewart'

He also likes Carlos Santana (He's crazy about the guitar!) & Tracy Chapman.

I know his 'genre' is hard to pin... but I'm sure he'll love whatever I come up with... but help would be greatly appreciated =)

Any ideas would be welcome! I was thinking a 'cadillac' song or two would be funny too.
