I LOVE MUSIC. in london, there are so many amazing concerts and just such a great music scene in general. i love so many different music genres and it was impossible to pick just 5 favorite artists so here are my other favorites:
LADYTRON, fischerspooner, the go! team, ac/dc, felix da housecat, lcd soundsystem, amon tobin, pj harvey, the doors, aphex twin, basement jaxx, feist, hed kandi, jimi hendrix, led zeppelin, the later beatles stuff, ELLIOTT SMITH, grateful dead, sneaker pimps, the duke spirit, GARBAGE, neil young, tears for fears, bob dylan, the incredible bongo band, fatboy slim, stone roses, the byrds, CREAM, the cult, the jam, DAVID BOWIE, radiohead, the libertines + babyshambles, THE SMITHS, kylie minogue, mylo, tom vek, regina spektor, nellie mckay, the pixies, BONEY M, mocky, screamin' jay hawkins, siouxie and the banshees, PORTISHEAD, gorillaz, kraftwerk, velvet underground + lou reed, SUFJAN STEVENS, talking heads, donovan

...pretty much everything ever recorded...

i used to be reallly into indie, but now i think indie is dead. MOVE ON EVERYONE. mmm i also really like trippy disney soundtracks, like alice in wonderland and bedknobs and broomsticks. for anyone who has not done so already, i recommend watching those movies high. you will not regret it.

i also like foreign music: brazilian samba, french rap, russian techno, austrian heavy metal, japanese electronica, etc. anything in another language is SEX.

I LOVE JAZZ. miles davis, benny goodman, ella fitzgerald, fred astaire, glenn miller, blossom dearie, django reinhardt, john coltrane, charlie parker, frank sinatra, etc.

mmm i go through phases. right now im into 80s phase and a house music, but im starting to get into some of my parents old vinyls again (simon and garfunkel, eagles, cream, fleetwood mac-- everything from that era...)

so basically, i like everything (or i have liked it at one point or another). i have way too many songs on my laptop to put onto my ipod, but i dont listen to them all and im sure that if i went through my library i would be surprised that most of them were even there.
