Ah, one quibble. Although Sinead's version is of course the best known, Prince did write it and record it first. Technically that makes Sinead's version a cover of Prince's. Nice list tho, and appreciate the inclusion of The Knife.

I knew Prince wrote 'Nothing Compares 2 U' but didnt know he recorded it too?? Haver to check it out. You learn soemthing new every day! Great version that Stereophonics version, worth checking out! Thanks for the appreciation guys!

Me First and the Gimme Gimmes also covered Nothing Compares to you...I must say that I think it is much better than both of these... And William Shatner? Hilarious.
