It was half-decade that kicked off the 90s, and we called the campus of the University of Wisconsin- Eau Clare home. When we weren't philosophizing about how amazing Pink Floyd was, and how the non-Roger Waters Floyd differed from the days when he was in the band, or lamenting the death of hair metal, or getting hammered, we did listen to the music of the day. Alternative and American Trad Rock were in their infancy, and we listened to and loved it all. Whether it was getting blown away by Nirvana, or wishing R.E.M. still sounded like they did in the 80s, we could not get enough!
