FIQL Pick If Autumn Had A Sound..
[Updated on September 17, 2007] If 'Fall' had a particular type of sound, then these would be the songs that deliver. There's definitely no rhyme or reason to the selection other than I've always associated 'grunge' with autumn which would explain for some of these songs. Maybe you'll agree, maybe not but check it out!

You need "Autumn's Here" by Hawksley Workman

Isn't this a little poppy for a fall playlist? I always like to hear some pondering, even, slow, beautiful tunes when fall comes around. A toning down in the sounds to prepare for the winter sad tracks.

Perhaps it's definitely not your standard 'fall' playlist but as always I try to incorporate a diverse cross-section of rock sounds for a playlist. If it happens to be poppy, it's cuz the fun times of fall we remember best, not that time you went for a walk and happened to remember you forgot to go grocery shopping. Besides, I think you found your answer why I didn't use more slow, introspective tracks in my playlist: those tracks are for winter! {insert plug for my Winter playlist here}

GREAT list. Lyrically, musically, thematically--I added at least 6 tracks. Thanks!
