I made this playlist really for fall (autumn), as -for me- this is always a very symbolic season of change, reflection, introspection and optimisim. I've chosen songs from my collection that reflect that kind of brightness, introspection, saddness for what's gone, that acknowledge the flow of time. Woke up this morning is a good begining, it really gets me in the frame of mind that something has ended and something new is about to begin, while being a great song to wake up to. Famous Blue Raincoat and Ella Mae are very slow, thoughtful songs, both deal with loss and rememberance, but followed by a songs like Chiyya Chiayya Bollywood Joint which is a total celebration of life and love, and Goldfrapps No1 always sounds like a sunrise after a dark spell.

I play this playlist anytime i feel a change of season comming. [-]
