Since they didn't show up on the major labels: Soulhat and Sister 7 (formerly known as Little Sister) are out of Austin. Cowboy Mouth, Peabody and Dash Riprock are from New Orleans. Better than Ezra is from Baton Rouge (though they claim New Orleans I believe)--by the way--don't judge the list if you've only heard of BTE--the other bands are quite different! For instance, some might call Dash rockabilly... they were a Halloween favorite in BR. All have websites if you're interested, just search or let me know. [-]
