I definitely love a ditty or a epic...OK, my definition of a ditty is a song under 3 minutes in length that is not a movement in a bigger work, and an epic has to be 9 minutes or longer in length and not part of a suite, opus, etc, etc...anyway, for the 4th 1-hour-set, I mixed 7 ditties with 5 epics. This playlist has probably my all-time favorite ditty, the Oingo Boingo (actually just Boingo) track "Tender Lumplings"...about 38 seconds of hilarity, featuring what sounds to me like Goofy providing background vocals! The epics mostly fit either the jazz fusion or prog rock category...the exception (of sorts) is "Rollover", which sounds like Pink Floyd meets Dead meets Pat Metheny...Doc X, 12-12-06
