FIQL Pick The Art Of The Lost Mixtape: Digital Digestibles
Perhaps the last in the series of transcribed playlists of my old mixtapes. I just found this one in a drawer in my office. It's amazing to see the evidence of the musical influences of the time: the 'lounge' revival and early 90s indie guitar rock (Bush, Everclear, Porno For Pyros), and of course Brit Pop (Verve, Radiohead, Pulp). There's even some trip hop (Tricky, Contrazoom) thrown in for good measure. So take a trip back with me now...

Nice idea for a list kanukki :) You're right you know, it's really interesting to check out old mix tapes and see how much your tastes changed from tape to tape. Makes me wanna hunt down mine.

Thanks Ozette. I'm bummed that I can't find more of them. They're like little time capsules of personal history. Imagine if you had playlists of the mixtapes that you made for significant 'others' over the years... mindboggling.
