The Wu-Tang Clan appeared on the spot in 1993 with the classic album, Wu-Tang (Enter the 36 Chambers). The group, consisting of 9 emcees, was started by "The Abbot", RZA (pronounced rizza). He signed the group to their own label, which allowed each emcee the freedom to sign with seperate record labels in order to pursue a successful solo careers. Five years after the debut album, Wu-Tang Forever came out as the second album to the Wu-Tang legacy. Then one day (in 2004), it changed when Ol' Dirty Bastard (name Russel Jones) died of a drug overdose. The group has yet to return to the game as a group.....although they promise their fans a proper closure, meaning another Wu album....
