FIQL Pick The Ultimate Break-up Mix for Indie Listeners
I made this playlist for my best friend who was going through a break-up. He couldn't get over his girlfriend who didn't want to be with him anymore. Some of the songs you can cry with, some will give you hope, some will make you laugh. They all give the message that you're not the only one whose felt this way, even though it feels that way. Also with time you will recover and eventually that love will just be a fond, sometimes sad, memory.

Inadvertantly Funny? You can't always get what you want? That sounds kind of harsh for a breakup, especially in the midst of titles like Everybody Hurts (about as over the top as REM gets, which is saying quite a lot). I love the Divorce Song though.

This list is wonderful and beautiful...any list with Coldplay, Radiohead, Damien Rice, and Ben Harper can't really go wrong in my eyes :D

Cake? On a breakup mix?? You really gotta have a sense of humor to do that...

In what world are the Rolling Stones considered indie? Still a good play list, but maybe not so indie...
