These aren't really from any specific genre (The Maytals are a reggae group, and Ice Cube is synonomous with gangster rap). It's just a mix of songs that I heard, hated, and now for some reason love.

Clever list Many of these songs were megahits and i know from my experience hearing them played ad nauseum on the radio was a major turnoff. but later on, when stations have moved onto the next song, hearing the song let's me appreciate it for what it is. that's my theory anyway!
