Music has been a central part of my everyday life since the day i was born. It has been the sound track to the best and worst
times in my life.I never realized how much influence my family and friends have had on my tastes in music. Music has been a way
of bonding with my family .There is no doubt i inherited my love for bands such as CCR and Bob Dylan from my parents. I can still
remember my first concert like it was yesterday. My parents took me to see Bob Dylan, CCR, and Santana, and it blew my
f***ing mind. My older sister got me into Prince and New Kids on the Block.(Sssssshhhhhh! lets not talk about that.) My oldest
brother was really into metal and he used to make me mix tapes of bands like Pantera, Danzig and Metallica. My youngest brother
is a hippie. lol He got me into Grateful Dead and Janis Joplin also Bands like Phish and O.A.R. Obviously my friends musical tastes
rubbed off on me to, but there is one perticular friend who rocked my musical world, that kid with the mohawk. Err Alex was his name.
He moved from Brooklyn to middle of nowhere Pennsylvania, and brought all his music with him. He handed me Punk-o-ramma vol.3,
and i was in love.(with the music not him) He introduced me to bands like Rancid, Nofx, the Aggrolites, and E-town Concrete. From there
i became obsessed with music, and with the help of the internet i can find anything i have ever wanted to hear.
So this mix may not make any kind of sence to you, the genres my not quite go together, but its the soundtrack of my life. [-]
