Aside from Gram Parsons, no one has influenced Americana music as much as Creedence Clearwater Revival. Their gritty fusion of Swamp Pop, Country Rock, hillbilly soul, and a driving dose of Southern-inspired R&B gave the band their trademark "chooglin'" sound.
